It’s hard to grasp the heartbreaking consequences of the conflict in Syria. For many, it feels a million miles away. But this statistic hits close to home: the number of child refugees fleeing the conflict in Syria has now topped the 1 million mark. That means as many Syrian children have been uprooted from their homes or families as the number of children who live in Boston and Los Angeles combined.

But they are not alone.

With your compassion and support, our nonprofit partners in the field are providing the help refugees need until they can return home. They’re supplying essentials like clean water and warm clothing, offering emotional support to mothers and fathers, and building safe spaces where kids can play and simply be kids.

It is this extraordinary work that has led us to create the Syrian Refugee Relief Fund.

Your gift will directly support our partners on the ground like Mercy Corps, the UNHCR, MADRE, and Relief International (among others) who are working to ensure families affected by this crisis receive the urgent care they need.

There is no quick solution to this humanitarian crisis. But together we can provide hope beyond imagination.

Warmly,
Diana Jannuzzi and The GlobalGiving Team
