How do you want to communicate it?

Funding proposal
– you want to demonstrate that your idea has merit and aligns with community needs. You want to cite examples outside of your own sphere of influence.

Monitoring report
– Explain the side benefits of your program, community reaction to your work

– Are course corrections needed? If so, what local evidence do you have for the new direction?

Needs Assessment
– You want to understand a whole community and ask, "if you could address any problem, what problems are the most important problems to address?"
Case study
– organize your knowledge into a narrative that includes one person's experience and how your organization is learning from it. Then publish / share this knowledge with peer organizations through GlobalGiving.
Import your knowledge
– Do you already have stories and data? You can import them and analyze what you have alongside data from thousands of others. You can begin to manage your knowledge more systematically, so that others in the future can learn from what you learned today.
Advocacy & Public Policy Change
– You want to influence others (a government ministry) or change your communities behaviors (such as hand washing) and you need evidence to make your case.
