Millenium Village Project

In the community where I come from, the Luo community the NGO( Non Government orgaisation) by the name millennium has eradicated poverty by distributing sacks of maize and hence it has introduced free lunch in school That organistion has also introduced bee lkeeping and poultry farming and farmers get income through selling their honey and hens. Millenium organization also has introduced free sanitary towels for ladies and girls learning at school. This has improved hygiene to girls learning at school. This has improved hygiene to girls to boys it has helped to educate on the importance of circumcision and has been carrying out the process for the past three years. Millenium village has also been educating on HIV/AIDS and has been carryng out VCT in the homesteads and also educating school children and elders by creating awareness and people are able to speak their ideas about HI V/AIDS
