Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Restoration Of Healthy Lifestyles

In this community i have lived for more then ten (10) years. I have observed many people suffering from chemical related problems/ailments e.g. cancers. We know the life style of taking chemicals through milk, water, fruits and other foods contributes eg fertilizers, deep food preservers. Kilimo hai is encouraging use of natural manure and indigenous free leaves or roots for deep and killing every kind of insects (insecticides) I trust theres reduced insecticides at cancer infections as we look forward to the health officer to give many people are now using manure from cows and maize stock plus leaves of trees. With such practices life expectance will increase.

  • The organization most involved in what happened: Kilimo Hai Kakamega County
