Youth Fund Seeks To Broaden Outreach

Youth Enterprise Development Fund was looking for established businesses to partner with through franchising,subcontracting,out sourcing and distributorship business arrangements. In an effort to support youth owned and youth oriented businesses,the fund was put out an inviting expression of interest from established firms, brands and outlets both in the public and private sector. The aim was to come up with mechanisms of enabling the youth enterprises get into franchises, outsourcing,distributorship or sub contacts in business such as solar energy building and construction. According to the request for expression of interest, other economic sectors that the youth enterprise Development fund board was looking at are transport and communication,wholesale,mining and quarrying and business services. The fund also wished to engage stakeholders willing to enter into partnership for opportunities to support youth oriented micro,small and medium enterprises to develop linkages with larger enterprises and also facilities marketing of products and services of youth owned enterprises in both domestic and international market.
