In Bungoma there were rains. The rain was so heavy and continous for many days. The slopes eroded becoming bare. One of the mountains in Bungoma district landslided killing people and destroyed their houses. The people in the area who survived were taken to safe place where bu they were issued and assisted with special needs. People organise themselves in groups to form asare organisation known as Anti-landslifers organization which gave aid to people who were victims in the landslides. The presence of the landslide was because of the elnino rain. The organisation gave education to the people on the way to handle it.
