Sexually transmitted diseases are many and many people in thousands have lost their lives due to this. This has basically occured due to the lack of sex education in the slums. This has led to the spread of STI and STDS among the youths of Makadara thus leading to the loss of lives from such diseases not forgeting HIV/AIDS which is a killer sexually transmitted disease. This was an issue due to the lack of sex education to the youth thus ignorance had led to the loss of lives of people. Due to this USAID lend by rolling in program called KUCHILL. This had the aim of educating the youth for their fellow youths. This was done by use of forums and seminars in the region of Madaraka thus educating the youth on how to prevent sexually transmitted diseases in the region and how one can lead a safe life.
