Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Educate The Children

Education is the only key to one succeeding in life. Many communities are slowly agreeing to education and it is taking effect on many people's lives. In one household though, they did not want to follow the trend and take their children to school. They thought that it was only a wasteof time since their children tend to domestic chores. The news reached the area chief and he got furious about the family's decision on their children. One day he went to that homestead and found both the husband and wife sitting outside going about their business. He greeted them and they responded very well to the chief. The wife offered him tea but he declined saying that he had only gone there for one reason. On hearing about the education part, the husband changed his smile into a big frown. He told the chief that he has no interests in taking his children to school. The chief explained to him about the advantages of going to school and that if he would still not allow his children to go to school, the government would not spare him. He said that he would think about it and later on he took his children to school.
