Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Gender Insensitivity

In many nuclear families, females including mothers are looked down upon by males. Such was in a stern man's family. He believed being the head of the family, he was to control and make decisions alone. His wife was submissive and none of his daughters would tell their brother anything. One day as he was passing near the local shopping centre, he saw people gathered at the meeting point. He decided to join them. There was a seminar on gender insensitivity. They were taught why people should be equal in a family to give room to free thinking and liberal minded citizens. On coming back home he shared this with his family. Although the man was the only person who used to provide for the livelihood of the whole family, today he enjoys giving his wife the chance to make decisions because she did set a kiosk by the roadside which have eventually grown to a wholesale centre and a dynamic source of their daily needs
