The man of people is a story that was written by Chinua Achebe the story took place at Mt Kirinyaga.The characters in this story are Achebe and the villagers.In Mt Kirinyaga there was a small village which Achebe was to go get some anointing oil.One day he went up to mountain to get some oil,at a given time he hold loud sound as thunder.After two hours he ran as fast has his febble legs could carry him. After he had reached in the village he told the villagers that,he had found some medicine which he could use to cure different diseases.After he had finished his talking,he went back to his home laughing like an expectant mother who had had triplets as the time seems moving like leaves from a tree.That was the time the disease went away.The villagers started trembling like an old locomotive engine in a car.He was a man of the people who had magic powers.That is why,''prevation is better than cure.
