Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

The Importance Of Trees

From 2008 a green belt organisation started its campaign in our society to tried and inform people's of the community the importance of trees and teach them how to plant trees. The community started a tree nursery and eventually it has become a source of income to our community. Members of the community were taught the importants of trees and up to now at least every member has planted trees around his/her compound and farm. The indigenious trees were prefered so much because they sustain drought and hence control drought. The tree nursery now supplies as many as trees as possible trees in every part of district. The teachers of the green belt were expecting if all communities will follow the same path the is issue of drought in the country will follow the country could not be seen in our country thus making our country fertile everyday.
