Due to the lack of employment in the country This has led to poor living standards of people in the slums Thus making life difficult with the ever increasing inflection.This has led to all vises in the slums for one to get food that seing crime and prostitution out The later has seen a deadly one that has led to the increase in the infection of HIV/AIDS in the slums thus making life horrible unbearable.This has really affected the fight against AIDS in the country.Due to this AMREF launched a program to rehabilitate the prostitutes in the slums for them to lead a proper lives e.g providing them with other forms of employment and even taking them to tailoring schools in order for them to eventually employ themselves.
