Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

President Of Kenya

The former president of this beautiful republic of Kenya, His excellency Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi was a well known president to many. To many, he was seen as a dictator whose word was final. The children were glad and happy during his era because of nyayo milk that they always received freely in schools. He was well known as Moi and most of the children knew that every president in the world is known as Moi. I hear at times you could hear them say the Moi of Uganda is Museveni or the Moi of U.S.A is Clinton. When Moi resigned and elections were done which saw the current president His excellency Mwai Kibaki take over in 2004, it was very difficult to change to change the minds of the children that the new president was Mwai Kibaki because they knew all presidents are called Moi. I had just been employed into the government and the first class i taught knew that Moi wa Kenya was Mwai Kibaki. I found it difficult to convince them until when they started to learn to learn with time that t he new president is His excellency Mwai Kibaki.
