Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

The People Who Make Our Communities Health Wise, Education Wise, Social And Economic Wise.

Voluntary medical circumcision has played a big role in the Kibera community. This is the only organization that has convinced the male people to get circumcised. It is a hard task to convince especially the Luo youth to get circumcised because some of them believe that in the end of times,God will ask them where they took their parts of their body, which is the foreskin. Atleast it has helped men health wise. They tell us the advantage of performing it and they have performed it free of charge so that we can reduce the Hiv/Aids in our community. African health community program is the other organization that has helped our community so much.It has realized how much our youth learned yet do not have jobs.AHCP has been helping the learned youth who have a passion in starting the business by teaching the ways of handling a business. Afterward, they give you a certificate which can help you during your business time. Before graduation they introduce you to those who can help you with fund or even help you get your fund for starting your business. They also offer to help those who are talented in bead works by teaching them how to make the beads and later start their own business of making and selling beads.
