Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

A Narrow Escape

In Our community there used to be slavery. Raiders would come with guns and kidnap children, youths, men women, the disabled and even the old. Everyday we shuddered with fear and trembled like leaves in tornados. Children cried for their parents who had been kidnapped. People never took place in any activities but instead sat in their doors hoping that one day things willcome to pass. Some migrated running away from the terror which they faced. Some people shaded tears all day long since they were miserable. People were no longer united but everybody was for himself. Those who were kidnapped were taken as slaves and worked as labourous. It was not an easy life since they showed no mercy towards us. After the long suffering and painful life the UN organization came to our rescue. They invaded the places where the slaves were taken and freed them and also destroyed the kidnappers property. After the slaves were returned home they provided foot to us and also taught us on the ways to make our own source of food. The community members became very thankful and excited.
