Lake Victoria And The Community

Lake Victoria is a natural source of income to the people living around .It is the inland source of fish especially Tilapia .The majority of the surrounding community depend on fishing and tourism as the main source of income . However the growth of water hyeins has turned the entire community unemployed this plant have covered the entire lake.One viewing it from a distance can thing of a large plantation of wheat These has bacame the main problem to these community.This is a result of poor farming ans release of unwanted sewage into channels which result in to untreated culrophication Any effort to address these problem by government and ministry of Environment has lacked effectiveness to manage the growth
