Wealth And Health Improved

Our family benefited from a household latrine, which was donated with a certain N.G.O.We are still staying with our grandmother. Our father left us to Nairobi to look for a job and our mother ran away due to problems it the family.I am the first born who managed to school up to std 8.We fell sick and we were diagnosed with typhoid,my younger sister died and we remained the two of us.The chief of the area came with visitors. They made us a lab and constructed for us a toilet. Before that we had none and could help ourselves in the nearest bush we used to collect firewood. It was not easy for grandmother to get medication, food due to lack of money. They later introduced us to community health workers who used to visit us from time to time we build racks for utensils, swept the house well and fetched water in a nearby spring that was protected,we became strong and healthy no sicknesses.
