Water Project

In the year 2007 water and sanitation project was funded by water service trust fund in Wekhokila chetambe area in webuye.The pjoject was to extract water from a spring and pump the water to an elevented or storage tank and supplied to the villages and schools and other components were construction of hand dug wells and sanitation blocks in schools.The project was phase in two debuzements.The first debuzement about 4 million was offered to be managed by a water user committe for the project.The project ran on well from training and initial stages of construction began well.When it reached the stages whereby procurement was to be done,the committee officials assigned with funds management colluded and wasted away the funds.The project first phase has not yet ended upto this very day and funds were badly used by the committee
