Kibera Environmental Organization

It was last year June when some Europeans came to kibera slum in Nairobi Kenya. That they moved through the slum where by they came up with some observations concerning the kibera Environment. The observation made by them include contamination of air, shortage of rainfall and need to conserve the environment. Fortunately after their observation they decided to form an organisation called kibera environmental organisation. In that organisation they speare-headed the trees that formed a forest that atracts rainfall the people of kibera used for agricultural activities like growing of crops such as coffee,flowers and as well as growing of maize. For them to develope the planting they had came discovered that kibera people were suffering from shortage of food and lack of fresh air that was very important to them. To make kibera to change from the being contamination and pollution of air and. According to their education when when they had been taught the importance of forest, how forest help people with food and how and how they depend on it for shelter. forest vegetation provided fresh air that they can surffocate. on the other hand, the forest produce timber that makes furniture that is said to earn money to depend on for food. The kibera people now enjoy a clean and fresh environment from some of the forests planted. Some of this forests can be traceded at mashimoni school where students and pupils enjoy the shade from their mini-forest projets
