Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Creating Hope

I started abusing drugs when I reached P6. This was as a result of the influence of my friends as they used to tell me that taking the drugs was cool. We had a policy called "Energizer". We would dodge lessons to go for smoking and chewing marijuana. The habit persisted in my life, all my parents and relatives came in to help me but all in vain. I thought this could stopped/be avoid at certain point, this was impossible I became totally addicted forcing me to drop out of school when i completed S4. I started engaging in bad habits like stealing my mothers money and other things . I was arrested time and again. All people hated me and I saw the world to have come to an end and not until RING OF HOPE UGANDA team started visiting me giving comfort and counselling. This changed my life while making me realize a problem and regret time and resources wasted. Thanks RING OF HOPE UGANDA.
