Soil Conservation

The earth crust is covered with soil. Then top soil is most valuable resources which most of plants nutrients orgami matter and soil organism are found. Soil is covered by vegetation protecting from deterioration. Mans activities such as deforestation and destruction of natural grass can cause soil erosion. When soil erosion occurs the crushed away one is deposited in separate they are not wanted. To prevent soil erosion expert in soil management introduced methods of soil conservation eg. building of terraces, building gabions, mulching cropping systems and many others. when the people of Kisumu put all this into practice all their all their soil was conserved.
