A Wonderful Transformation Courtesy Of Women.

We must say with some amount of boldness that poverty must go but even more we must kick it hardest with the boots of courage, creativity and positive self esteem out of any where near our reach. It is the formation of collective power that welds the string of command in this regard. To demonstrate this is no less style, the women movement in Kakamega county under Frida shihundu has done much in their own right as champions. In the year 2010,an empowerment program for women through a workshop was organised in Kakamega town which has born overwhelming fruit. One of the women group in this in country training programme on strengthening the capacity of grassroot women Groups known as Jiheshima self help group now makes jam from sweet potatoes, soap and other products from weally available crops in the community. There is a great transformation among the women world in our country courtesy of these great women.
