Benefits From My Youth Group

I am the founder member and the enagural Treasure of Khayega self help youth group. Currently I am the marketing Executive of its enterprice, the kakamega trains Monthly. Although the groups major objective was to engage in publishing it has also associated many of its members to start personal income generating projects like bricks-making,poultry keeping, Dairy goats farming and running of small enterprises like kiosks. From an initial membership of 15,the group now has 25 members. Many are involved in one activity or the other.I personally have been involved in brick-making and kioskenterprise which have greatly helped my family.I am indebted to the group for all this. Although the group has been dogged by lack of sufficient funds needed by its members, we are stil hopeful and optimistic that we shall get some donors as we continue to operate depending on membership subscription and magazine sales
