Drought Management

In kenya the hearders live in the arid parts of the country which makes them supseptible to drought.With the global warming and climatic change in the country the drought has engulfed the northern region of the country. This has led to loss of life of not only humans but livestocks.Since the communities that live in the northern parts of the country are pastroralists thus depend on their animals.Due to the drought many of the livestocks died due to drought. This a need to save the pastoralists from complete lose of life some organization and the government decided to buy the livestock which are weak and vulnerable for slaughter.This is to save the community from losing its cattle because eventually they will have funds to buy other livestocks when the drought ends thus leaving them dependent.
