Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Mixed Farming

As a farmer i used to plant maize in my one acre land because that was what people planted and cultivated such that during harvesting time there was too much maize and beans. One time i attended a training with a certain organization called the Kenya Farmer Training with a certain organisation called the kenya farmer training association. In this seminar i was trained on how i can use one acre to plant variety of crops. I divided my piece of land into 4 section and this time round during harvest time the story was different,i had four crops to harvest unlike others who still had maize and beans.I had cassava, sweet potatoes, maize and beans. so i endavoured to teach others the method and productivity has increased.
