Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Police Canteen

While in Naivasha,i witnessed this scene where the Municipal council of Naivasha had issued a demolish notice of a police canteen in the area to the adminstration police boss in the area. This spured a great fight between the Municipal Council askaris and the Naivasha administration police that lasted almost two hours the town clerk and the mayor tried to intervene but it was all in vain as they were chased back to their offices with tear gas. After sometime, the adminstration police boss and municipal council town clerk and adminstrators, held talks and called for a cease fire in the town. They peaceful ended the short term strife and at the end of the day the police canteen was still there and that's when i learned something, there are somethings we can change as long as we are above but we can't change somethings especially when they belong to those above us.
