Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Drug Addict

Joel was a very addicted bhang smoker whom everyone in my community knew. It was a dream for one to thing that Joel could ever change and be a good man. The whole community treated him as an outcast and a man without hope. when he was around , no one dared leave his property exposed or reclessly placed for the fear that Joel would vanish with it. Joel himself had lost hope and was now ruthless, recless and sturbourn because what people said about him. For he thought that even if he changed no one would trust him so this also meaned any chances of him ever changing. One time when Joel was now extreme in his behaviour, i took the responsibility to speak to him. As a born again christian i spoke about the message of the cross and how Jesus gave up his life for his. I also spoke to him about the effects of bhang smoking and believe you me. Joel changed completely and today he is a very committed christian.
