The New Face

The kenyan Media is not only set out to bring news and entertainment to us but rather issues tha touch at heart. There is a reform in the media and one of the people that have brought a new face to the media is the news anchor Lilian Muli Kanene. She has been able to visit those neglected in the society, mingle with them, get to know their feelings and bring them to the lime light for us the viewers to see. Among the programmes she has done is the lookdown series that really caught the eyes of so many of us. She visited men an women behind bars of very serious crimes, some sentenced to lige imprisonment but was able to show us that this people despite their mistakes had changed and some in the process of reforming. She helped some of us change the perception we had towards prisoners and realised that they just but humans. She also runs a programme on drug addicts trying to fight themselves against them. During this time we get to hear what happens when one sniffs, injects or takes tablets of drugs. The repacations that come with drug abuse. In the end we realize that this problem.
