The Kenyan headteachers have been urged to incultate patriotism and nationalism among students. The national cohesion and intergration commission chairman, Mzalendo Kibunjia says teachers were in a better position to instill good values in students because they spend 90 percent of their time in learning institutions. He says that the education center will be a key drive to bring nationalism and promoting culture of excellence and promoting culture of excellence and pursuit for learning students make a big percentage of the nation and are, therefore crucial to national unity. He says the youths are the ones who can build and destroy a nation. He reminds us of the post election violence, where the youths were used to fight each other and because majority spend most of their time in schools, teachers should guide them on good values. He also is encouraging the teachers to ensure students use the two national languages english and kiswahili in school. To promote patriotism through theatre.
