Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Feeding The Poor

I can recall in 2008 whereby the residents in Kiambu suffered a lot because of shortage of food and reliable rainfall. my parents had no other option except to start calling for help from the government but the government didn't reply anything. The other countries agreed to assist us as residents in Kiambu District, my family and other families also agreed to be helped by the other countries neighboring us, parents and children joined the occasion and they were educated on how to manage a disaster experienced in some of the areas neighbouring us. We nos started going to school and as pupils we were healthy and we got our rights as children. The Ugandans came and joined the programme and they provided us with enough food and needs and we thanked the Ugandans Society for helping us on managing the drought which we experienced in 2008. In 2010, we were now having much problem on drought and we also helped the countries that assisted on helping us on drought disaster and we hoped they could often come and visit us when we expect them to come. The programme prevented drought on each country and the whole world.
