Fish Farming

Fish farming is a major boost to the country economy. It helps in the production of fish which is a source of protein,and also earns the country foreign exchange when the excess supply of fish is exported. Through fish farming people are able to earn a living hence improving their living standards. Fish farming also utilizes the land that is not good for crop production. Fish farming provides employment to some people who works as guards or caretaker of the fish ponds. Alot of you get employed in the production of fish ponds hence reducing the rate of crime since they earn their own money. Through the project many families are able to get their basic need from the pond. This is buy selling the fish to earn income which in turn is used to buy other goods. Some children are now able to learn about conserveation of marine life. Through sell of fingerlings and fish may people have been able to boost their living standards hence reducing the gap between the rich and the poor.
