Hiv And Aids Awareness

When a person is infected with HIV, he or she goes through various stage. The first one being the window stage This is because the person tasted at this stage may be HIV negative This means the person appears not infected when he or she is actually infected. Many people are suffering with HIV this is because he or she did sex with a person who is suffering HIV without knowing whether that person is HIV negative or positive that why many people die with HIV. Wife inheritance is a traditional practice that has continued even today. It is where a wife whose husband has passed away is remarried by another man to fulfil certain traditional. Wife inheritance is a recipe for spreading HIV/aids Since those who still cherish this practice do assume the role of the late husband of the widow without looking into circumstances that perhaps might have led to his death. This practice should be discourage seriously. In order to enlighten people about the infection and to help wipe out the disease, The kenya government in the year 2000 declared HIV/AIDS a national disaster and other organizations both local and international are working out ways of curbing the spread of HIV/AIDS many people got infected with HIV/AIDS because the are ignorant. People should visit VCT to be tested
