Road Safety

Disaster are caused by natural negligence and intesion. some deserter we know very well are caused by natural events such as floods, lighting or earthquakes. We have almost no control over these. Everyday many people die on our roads but it is not until there is one majore fatal accident that we take notice. Some years ago, two buses carrying over forty five passengers each crashed into each other. the Kisumu bus driver decided to overtake another Nairobi bus and one bus burst into flames and few people survived. Some people set out to cause a diserster they appear to believe in the old Chinese saying 'kill one fright ten thousand in 1998 and the adjacent building collapsed. However, in order to reduce the pain of that disaster we try to make the place of such horror a place of peace and beauty. we remember those who died because their names are written on a monument.
