Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Disrespect

I was a peer counsellor during my times in school.I was chosen because i knew how to relate with people. My fellows were fond of me and could share anything with me.Everything was smooth and good untill i reached the last class Just as i was about to finish my form four i got my self in a very big mess. Some rumours were going around about two girls that they were lesbians.Instead of me facing the girls and ask them i collaborated with my fellow.I guess by that time i dint care at all besides i was finishing school. To make matters worse i was one of the girls who supposed what happened and then i started the gossiping even worse.Yes i regretted it because that wasn't me.The two girls were so much affected until they reported us to the deputy. How was i even going to explain myself.Atleast for the others but me as a peer guider.how? Why did i even get involved at such.So later on we were summoned to the office and we were really quarelled especially me.I felt it because it was wong on me to do such a thing.Instead of find the problem i was the one creating the problem. It like we had no respect at all.
