Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

Mater Heart Run

The standard bank is one of the most established banks in East Africa and has managed to stay on top. Over the years even during the current recession that hit the world. During the years, the bank has boasted of the huge profits they make annually and they even became bored with it and thought of ways of helping the community. They noticed that most children never lived to see their twenties due to heart -related illnesses. That is where they came in and tried to help by assisting worthy worthy and needy patients who needed heart surgeries. A year into the programme, they started to feel the pinch because heart surgeries are very costly and expensive. They decided to form the Mater Heart Run. Mater Hospital is the only hospital that deals with heart-related illnesses in Kenya. They decided to partner and this wasn't enough and they decided to involve the public and what better way than to form the Mater heart Run. It has been so successful and iI know a young boy who benefited from their partnership and he could probably dead by now had it not been for the organizations. Heart-related surgeries have increased and many patients have been treated leading to a very healthy and productive society.
