Right Attitude Can Move Mountains (riacamomo)

Farming or carrying out an enterprise is good especially if one is able to realise the profit growth margins. I will talk about farming as a business of which enterprise i learnt at some workshop.I am a community development assistant attached to Busia Environmental Management Programme(BERMA)a local NGO Impacting the same to the communities became a challenge because they feel they lack the capital to start it.On the other side of it if given they capital they will squander it in other ways. This capital can be available to them as loans but after thorough training on farming as a business. These are people if given a loan ,one the fear loan, two,if given they will squander it as it has happened before. What they require is a)thorough training b)micro-credit availed to those who start by showing that they can do some work and then work complete.Record keeping is an important component of farming as a business.
