Poor Living Conditions For The Aged In The Society

Paustina is the aged member in the society.she was born in 1920 in a local set up in Mundika sub location.when asked the type of life she was brought up she she said" i was brought up like a queen daughters"she was married to a responsible husband and continued with a good life.throughout her life she did not manage to get a child.the husband died in 1995 at the age of 87 years and left the wodow behind with a hundred cattle.Two years later after the disease of foot and mouth cleared all the animals and left the widow with only dried skins for drying the cereals.This is when the problems knocked the door of this widow. Paustina at the age of 91 years,she is still surviving and experiencing a problem of food ,shelter,clothing,and medication.This is not a problem to only Paustina but to all old aged generation in the society.The government of kenya has closed its eyes to paustina and more others although the government is having a programme fr the aged.The aged people surved us in their active stage,why cant we surve them now?
