The Bitter Roots Of Youthful Stage

Today moving in and out in the outskirts of Busia town found the form four leavers chatting and blaming most of themselves and the government for abandoning them, no financial support for self employment no capital to venture in farming and no funds for further education. Edwin Simiyu complicated his form four two years ago and on his appearance the last judgement look like he never went to school. The white shirt which was a school uniform has turned brown, the long trouser, all the battex are outside the shoe which he used in school for four years the sole has worn out and it has never been polished for the last two years. Visiting the guy in his residential area, yo will shed tears, no beddings small grass, thatched house leaking through out and the guy enjoy the sleep during the dry season after succumbing heavy mosquitoes bites. He said he got a good grade to enable him join a college in Kenya and has never attended any interview because he can not wear decently, no money for bribery and lack of college fees. Parents claims to have sold their property (land) for educating their childrens. The end result the most of them is early marriage,drug abuse,stealing, prostitution and committing suicide.Edwin concluded the story that if the resource center, youth development center, sponsorship and micro-credit for self employment.
