Please tell a story about a time when a person or organization tried to help someone or change something in your community:

The green hose foundation was a project we started with the help of some donors. We had a large land that was not fertile and was wondering what to do; with it.A certain westerner who was touring the slum noticed the piece of land and wanted to know what it was meant for.He was told to his surprise that the piece of land was just dormant so he asked if he could talk the owner and since he was just around he came. The white man gave him this idea that he could start a green house and plant flowers. At the first, the idea was unreasonable, but the white man promised to help us. He helped us buy the green house materials and we constructed it within a week, he also supplied with seeds and he also educated us on how to make the project work. 6 months and the project was successful, but unfortunately for the white man his days in Kenya were over but we still communicate through email. We have manged to train over 50 youths on how to plant flowers and on how to manage them.It is simple and it pays very well in the end.Thank you.
