Drilling Borhole To Solve Water Shortage

The past few months there has been prolonged drought season in Kenya. This has led to an acute shortage in water and thus lowered productivity of our land. Animals and people in some parts of the country have died as a result of acute shortage in water. In my home town, Luanda town water shortage has also been an emerging issue. The hygiene levels of this small town have been wanting andpeople have been relying on rain as the sole provider of water. In t imes of drought as has been the case, they have been forced to rely on river water which is dirty. This saw an organizational, together with the municipal council of Luanda drill a borehole at Luanda market. Though not yet complete and reliable, the borehole is expected to serve the whole community and it's neighborhood all year round. The people will be expected to pay 5 shilings for twenty litres of water to serve the residents of Luanda town and it's neighboring community.
