We are starting our YouthAlert! (YA!) Program "Survive & Thrive Skills Training" for Children and Youth. “EFFECTIVE” universal, cross-cutting, comprehensive, violence, bullying, and abuse, prevention, mental health, and school safety, health education in CHICAGO IL.
YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A is a group of volunteers of concerned adults and youth from all parts of society whose purpose is to help to bring about an annual ten percent reduction in child and youth violence, bullying, and abuse. All of YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A. initiatives are educational only and rooted in volunteerism. YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A. is also not political, financial, or religious, in nature.
YouthAlert! (YA!) U.SA. is Tax Exempt under I.R.S. Code 501 (c) (3). Employee Identification Number (EIN)/Federal Tax Identification Number (FID) is 27-5333413. Effective date of exemption is March 14, 2008
YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A. main initiative is the YouthAlert! (YA!) Program "Survive & Thrive Skills Training" for Children and Youth. It is “EFFECTIVE” universal, cross-cutting, comprehensive, violence, bullying, and abuse, prevention, mental health, and school safety, education. It is available for school-based or out-of-school time use for those 5 to 25 years of age.
Age-appropriate content includes bullying, self-harm, child abuse, peer violence, dating violence, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, gang violence, gun violence and school violence.
Those cost per children or youth for each two-hour session is:
5 - 9 years of age $2.15
10 - 18 years of age $3.25
19 - 25 years of age $4.75
Each two- hour session can include up to six program units. There are ninety YouthAlert! (YA!) program units to choose from.
Pricing includes in-person presentation and instruction, handouts, induvial and group activities, surveys snacks, and continual learning options online.
Locations can include schools, after-school care locations, child and youth activities centers, youth clubs, court diversion programs, detention/residence centers, summer camps, places of worship, government centers and webinars
For an added bonus the YouthAlert! (YA!) Program follows and supports each states health education standards, framework, and benchmarks.
YouthAlert! (YA!) U.S.A. - Win The War! Against Violence, is also a U.S. Nonprofit Organization with Special Consultative Status to the United Nation’s Economic and Social Council.
