Prevention of Youth Violence in Ayacucho – Peru

On August 22, 24 teenagers from the Alternative Youth Space made the trip to the Museum of Memory of ANFASEP (National Association of Relatives of Kidnapped, Detained and Missing Persons of Peru), the tour was also made to 3 places of memories (The Totem of the Memory, Monument and street January 26 in tribute to journalists victims of the internal armed conflict and the monument that represents all women who at the time of the internal armed conflict went bravely to look for their children, husband, relatives knocking on doors) .
The tour was guided by the group of young Peacebuilders, with the aim of informing what happened in the era of violence and the importance of the places of Memory and in this way reflecting so that these events do not happen again.
Talk about prevention against human trafficking
On Thursday, September 5, the talk "Prevention against trafficking in persons" was held with the participation of 16 adolescents in the area of Quinuapata with the objective that adolescents know and become aware of this problem and cannot be deceived or caught by false lies of work to young people and thus be victims of this organization.
Talk Environmental management in the field of solid waste and water care
On September 5, the talk entitled “Environmental Management in the field of solid waste and water care” was held, whose objective is to sensitize adolescents in the Youth Space in the area of Carmen Alto la Paz in environmental matters, achieving that learn tools of socio-environmental development, in the talk a practical and creative methodology was used, the route of water was explained to adolescents through a model, also emphasizing the 3Rs that are based on recycling, refusing and reducing to protect the environment, culminating in the realization of a puppet with recycling material, capturing the attention of adolescents by the dynamics and resources used by the facilitators.
Psychodrams Workshop
On September 21, sessions of Mutual Help Group were held with the adolescents of the Alternative Youth Space, in the workshop the emotional approach and group strengthening were used, the psychodramatic tools performed were: “The Rusty Knight of the Armor” that had The objective is to address with the adolescents the issue of self-esteem through the story of the rusty Knight of the Armor “Unleashing Knots” that aimed to work on different problems and emotional knots, awakening creativity in adolescents in order to find the solution to the problems that affect him "The Magic Shop" that aimed to achieve the recognition of each teenager of their own qualities and get rid of negative qualities.
Pregnancy talk in adolescents
El día martes 10 de setiembre se llevó a cabo la charla de prevención del embarazo en adolescentes con la participación de 16 adolescentes de la zona de Quinuapata con el objetivo de informar la importancia de prevenir el embarazo a muy temprana edad, el cuidado y respeto a su cuerpo.
Chocolate Making
In September, the preparation of chocolates was carried out with adolescents in the Quinuapata area and in the area of La Paz, the chocolates were made with different inputs such as: raisins, almonds, dried figs, pecans, brown and white chocolate, also with different molds and wraps, with the purpose that adolescents through these classes learned can generate some own income.
