Prevention of Youth Violence in Ayacucho – Peru
Carpet Development for Holy Week
Holy Week Ayacuchana is a celebration of traditional faith that year after year integrates the Ayacuchana population and captivates many tourists, both national and foreign. During that week, the city of Ayacucho receives various processions that register its streets followed by a multitude of faithful devotees and visitors; This is how our city dresses up and color with the traditional carpets that are made of plaster, sawdust, flowers and other recycled materials.
Los adolescentes del Espacio Juvenil Alternativa comprometida la actividad el día 16 de abril con motivo de la procesión del Señor de la Sentencia, las alfombras fueron elaboradas en la plaza de la ciudad de Huamanga. Para la elaboración de las alfombras, los jóvenes se reunieron días antes para poder armar todos los materiales correspondientes y el día mismo de la elaboración se concentraron muy temprano en la plaza de armas para dar inicio la demarcación del espacio y plasmaron los bosquejos de los dibujos elegidos en la pista.

Pregnancy Prevention Talk
It was held on May 14 and 17, 2019 with the students of the 4th and 5th year of the Javier Heraud Pérez Educational Institution located in the Carmen Alto Zone, these workshops are being carried out as a form of pregnancy prevention in children of age, the methodology of the talk was through videos and projection of films, addressing What is teenage pregnancy ?, statistics, causes and consequences of teenage pregnancy, Why is teenage pregnancy a problem ?, How to prevent teenage pregnancy ?, where adolescents were able to clarify doubts by asking the facilitator and giving their opinions about the subject.
Responsible Sexuality Workshop
It was held on May 27, with the participation of 15 adolescents, this topic was requested by the adolescents themselves, the workshop was quite participatory having a first start on the conceptual generalities of sexuality, where they clearly had many misconceptions and doubts, then They started talking about sex, gender, self-esteem, through the dynamics the adolescents were releasing and expressing what they knew since it is a taboo subject for them since at home parents do not talk about these issues with their children and daughters.
Training workshops Wait with teenagers at risk
During the dates 10, 17,19,21,24 and June 28, 2019, 6 modules of Forgiveness of the ESPERE (School of forgiveness and reconciliation) are being carried out, with the adolescents of the Alternative Youth Space - La Paz Carmen Alto Zone, whose objective is to encourage the practice of values, forgiveness, being a more personal work, where each teenager will carry out their own process of reflection and change, being a total of 18 participating adolescents where the Identity and Social Networks modules were touched, Managing Conflicts, Knowing My Personal History, How we care, I take care of myself, I take care of my emotions, The participation of teenagers was quite active, and very willing to perform the exercises in the various modules.
Father's Day Presentation
On June 14, the teenagers of the Alternative Youth Space made a musical presentation with the theme condor passes, for the celebration of Father's Day held at the Javier Heraud Educational Institution, 15 teenagers participated, who played various instruments such as: Guitar, zampoña, mandolin, quenas, drums, etc. Teachers and students in general delighted with music and recognized the work that has been done in the Alternative Youth Space in front of the educational authorities and parents
