Workshop: Importance of complying the rules
On Tuesday, October 9th, a workshop about rules for peace and teamwork was held with the adolescents in the Alternative Youth Space of Carmen Alto - La Paz. The theme was: elaboration and establishment of rules of coexistence, its limits and importance, the meaning of a group, team work, advantages of the conformation of a group, different types of groups. The workshop had an attendance of 17 adolescents. The workshop was in charge of a Psychologist.
Values Workshop
On October 16, a workshop was held with the adolescents of the Alternative Youth Space of Carmen Alto - La Paz. The themes addressed were the Human Values that adolescents should have in their daily lives. The workshop consider theory and practice activities.
The workshop was facilitated by the Psychologist Zorelys Aranguren and Emma Gómez. The themes developed were: What are values?, why do values regulate behavior?, types of values (Friendship, love, fellowship among others), importance of values in daily life and advantages of having values. There was an active participation of 14 adolescents.
Internet Abuse Workshop
On Tuesday, October 23rd, a Psychologist conducted a workshop about Internet Abuse for teenagers in the Alternative Youth Space of Carmen Alto - La Paz. Through videos and playful activities, the adolescents were able to learn about the advantages of the internet. Also, the workshop raises awareness about the risk factors of Internet abuse and some risks as Sexting, Grooming, Cyberbulling and Cyberdependence. This was held with the purpose that adolescents have access to the necessary information to prevent a possible addiction to the internet. There was an active participation of 15 adolescents
CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES
Tómbola, Bazar and chocolatada in the neighborhood
On December 19th, the adolescents of the Alternative Youth Space of the zone of La Paz, made a raffle and bazaar of Christmas toys in the AA.HH La Paz, with the participation of parents, mothers, children and population in general. After the activity, we made a Christmas chocolatada for everyone present.
Closing year activity
On December 7th, the closing year activity was held. It was an afternoon of sharing and rewarding the adolescents that during the year were able to stand out in various activities that were offered, this to highlight the skills they have. The prizes were various toys that were donated.
Christmas Sharing
On December 19th, there was a Christmas Sharing activity with the participation of 40 adolescents. It was a space where we share the Christmas’ spirit, and after that we offer a rich chocolate accompanied by a piece of panettone. At the end of the activity, we give a Christmas bag to the children, which consists of a panettone, two jars of milk and two chocolate. All these were bought with the collection of funds that was made through the raffle and the bazaar.
