In Zanzibar, Tanzania we support youth and the community by providing education resources, supporting feeding and hygiene initiatives to improve wellness, and building and renovating education facilities to improve the learning environment. Further, we teach locals how to drive boats ethically, conserve the environment, and promote ecotourism. This fund will enable us to provide education, wellness, livelihood, and conservation programs in Zanzibar.
In Zanzibar, Tanzania the community faces many challenges including unemployment, poverty, and under-resourced education facilities. Getting a quality education is a challenge for many children, and many children face physical and mental wellness vulnerabilities. Even for the most ambitious young person, securing a livelihood when you're surrounded by poverty is almost impossible.
We empower youth and the community through education, wellness, livelihood, and conservation initiatives. By providing education resources and supporting nutrition and health initiatives, youth have the opportunity to learn & live enriched & healthier lives. By connecting youth to further learning opportunities and providing safe spaces for them to focus on their education and well-being, we hope to set them up for healthy and opportunity-filled futures.
Our vision is for youth to have the opportunity and ability to finish school and seek sustainable livelihoods, for young people to be mindful of the choices they make about their health and well-being, and for youth and the community to be equipped to choose their own pathways.
