We are pleased to share an update on the Women in Construction project and Extollo’s progress, thanks to your continued support.
In late June, the Kenyan security force arrived to help the Haitian National Police combat gangs. However, several months in, little progress has been made due to the gangs’ stronghold. Despite these challenges, the resilience of the Haitian people inspires us to keep moving forward.
Extollo continues its mission, and this summer, we completed a planning trip to prepare for a new training facility in Cap Haitian. We’ve also rehired staff to assist with maintenance and small projects while distributing tens of thousands of meals to the local community in our emergency relief efforts.
We remain focused on expanding our educational initiatives. New vocational training classes are developing to empower women in construction, ensuring long-term sustainability and success.
Your support has made all this possible, and we are incredibly grateful. If you haven’t yet joined our cause, we invite you to contribute. Every donation helps create lasting change.
Thank you!
