To empower and build capacity of economically active poor women and youth by providing them with training is business and management skills and providing them with the Revolving Fund.
Marginalized poor women living in Iringa have got economic and social problems. The economic problem is lack of employment opportunities, recreation & entertainment centers, inadequate funds to enable us train more needy women groups in entrepreneurial skills, book keeping skills, savings culture, making business plans, group management, group dynamics, functional & audit literacy skills, funds to acquire enough training materials & equipment. 620 poor women will benefits in this project.
Will solve the problem through reducing women poverty income & illiteracy through providing training, business management skills, leadership skills, marginalized women borrowing groups, entrepreneurial skills development, book keeping skills & in savings mobilization to enable them access revolving fund to improve on their income & income generation for their households. Funds will increase self-respect & esteem among local women & hence liberating them economically, physically & socially.
Access credit for their micro-business, leading to increased incomes for participating households & better nutrition, get empowered socially & economically, alleviation of poverty from midst, increased self-respect & esteem among 620 poor women clients who will strive to succeed & overcomes poverty, access functional Literacy Education, access high quality financial services & financial discipline.Project will enhance local level participation of the grass roots women in local policy.
