17.01.2011: As the harsh winter has now approached Pakistan, the unfortunate flood victims were faced with the challenge of combating the bitter cold weather. With no roof over their heads and lack of basic healthcare facilities in the region, seven million flood victims are extremely vulnerable to a wide variety of diseases such as chest infections, pneumonia etc which could significantly bring up the number of deaths.
With your support, Fatima Memorial Hospital - Nur Foundation has managed to spread warmth across to the flood affectee's. A flood relief team comprising of five members were sent to Dera Ghazi Khan last week. During their three day tenure in the region, they distributed approximately 450-500 winter quilts to the residents. The sheer joy of receiving a mere blanket was reflective by people's utmost happiness and their well-wishes towards FMH-Nur Foundation's efforts for them.
By donating a meager amount towards this noble cause, it seems that the joy it has spread has absolutely no boundaries and limits. None of these efforts undertaken by us would have been possible without your generous donations and support.
It is impertinent for us to all join hands together and contribute towards the betterment of humanity in Pakistan. Hence, we gratefully thank you for your support towards such a noble cause.
