Southern Punjab was adversely affected due to heavy floods in 2010 .Flood affected people have been provided with warm quilts and clothes since the beginning of this project in 2010.Fatima Memorial Hospital(FMH) and NUR Foundation have played a vital role in the relief and rehabilitation of these people.
On 22 December 2011, FMH team visited Habit Mastui (Dera Ghazi Khan) and distributed 500 sweaters, 200 warm clothes and 150 quilts among students and community members. The thought of having warm clothing and quilts to survive the harsh winters in Pakistan, brought them immense comfort. Their happy and satisfied faces were a sign of success for this project in itself.
We acknowledge the valuable support from our partners and donors who have always stood by our side. Without their assistance, it would have been difficult to maintain commitment in order to establish an impartial system of health and education. This dedication has paid off in the form of privileging the impoverished sector of the society. We hope to receive your valuable feedback and continued support which would further help us to improve the system and multiply the impact.
