Summary

With climatic threats to the livelihood framing to the post war community of Northern Uganda; caused by the assumed disturbances of the national gasses in the atmosphere during 3 decades of war within the region, through the emissions of gun shooting among others; resulting into: loss of rain patterns, prolong drought, soil becoming very hard, and so on. Kole Intellectual Forum intends to provide pipe water for irrigation that will be a solution to the Climatic threats in Uganda; 1st with Apedi.

Challenge

Education of about 1000 children of the post war public school of Angic P/S in Kole, N. Uganda; is, under climatic threats; simply because, after the war, the region is experiencing prolong drought, lost of rain patterns, hardening of the soil, and increase in the temperature; making it very difficult for the parents/ Guardians of these children to generate their economic income from their main form of occupation: Farming; hence, inadequate support to their quality education.

Solution

Kole Intellectual Forum intends to promote quality education of these pupils; first, from Angic primary schools, Northern Uganda; by offering income generating projects that has environmental solutions; prepare seed beds at the Academic Center of Excellency, Apedi; supply pipe water at the center; train community with entrepreneurship skills; and, outsource markets for the assumed products.

Long-Term Impact

It is therefore, the outermost interest of Kole Intellectual Forum, to: establish a peaceful society and avoid re occurrence of war within Northern Uganda; by promoting environmental solutions that makes it easier for the community to support quality education that is sustainable to the children in the public schools; by engaging their parents/guardians into irrigation farming that will enable them to meet the education requirements of their children.
